It's beginning to look a lot like... we won't be in by Christmas.

Before
So here are a few “before pictures” to give you an idea of how much work we have to do. Somehow we forgot to take a picture of the 2nd bedroom which MUST have been built to be a nursery, because it is basically, a very large closet. I’ll post one soon. Matt, my sweet dad, and sweet little brother spent Saturday taking out the window units and filling in the holes, and then took out the wall between the dining room and kitchen which will be an open bar. They also gutted the kitchen! It was a busy day, i’m sure. My father-in-law is a busy bee and loves working on projects. He is such a hard worker. I’m pretty sure he’s been at the house almost every other day sheetrocking, floating, and patching the outside where the window units were.
In the meantime, Matt and I are trying to decide on paint colors, cabinets, floors, etc. Right now we are loving Gray horse by Benjamin Moore. Hope to try it out soon. We probably have been driving our moms crazy with question after question. Next on our agenda will most likely be central air and heat, painting, and cabinets!! I think the house will begin coming together once we put some paint on the walls. We are getting so excited thinking about all of the possibilities. I am trying my best to stay focused on school, but come on! Between baby and house, there isn’t much room for studying. This is such a fun time! We are so thankful. Really, really thankful.
